New Here FAQs

What time are your services?

We have two Sunday morning services: 9:00a, and 10:30a. Both services are identical. Children's programming for birth-high school is available during both services.

Where is Broadway Christian Church?

We are located at 1205 S. 9th St. in Mattoon right across from Mattoon Middle School.

What kind of church are you?

Broadway is non-denominational. This means we are not affiliated with an overseeing governing body (i.e. the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, etc.). We believe the Bible is God's inspired word written to each of us, and it is the only guide for life and faith that a believer needs. Check out more on what we believe.

What kind of music do you play?

Broadway focuses on contemporary music, very similar to what you would hear on contemporary Christian radio. On most weekends you'll hear and see guitars, keyboards, and drums.

How should I dress to come to sunday services?

You'll see people dressed in a variety of ways at Broadway. Casual, jeans, shorts, and a t-shirt are just fine.

What Makes Broadway Unique?

You'll always hear Bible scripture at our Sunday services. We consistently hear parents say their kids love our children's programming, and can't wait to come back the following Sunday. As you enter Broadway, you will be warmly greeted. Help yourself to a cup of Land of a Thousand Hills coffee at the Coffee Cove in our lobby.

What is Broadway's Mission?

Broadway strives to help people in Central Illinois and around the world find and follow Jesus.
